Rain is expected on the first day of The Festival, Tuesday 12th March.  Presbury Park is situated on the Cotswold Hills and Chamption Day is open to being hit by gusts of win.  However, the Malvern hills are expected to provide some respite from the wind.

Tuesday.  Persistent rain is likely before the event.  5mm of rain fell on Sunday.  Likely to open of soft ground.

Wednesday. Westerly gusts are expected on Wednesday morning of around 40 mile per hour, picking up to 50 miles per hour at midday, and easing in the afternoon.  Ladies hold on to your hats, Ladies Day could be windy.  Good to soft depending on showers during Tuesday afternoon.  Midday shows a 10% chance of rain.

Thursday.  20% change of rain.  Changes are the going will have improved.

Friday. Gold Cup Day has the lowest chance of rain and the longer time since the heaviest rain is forecast.  Expect the going to be more good than soft.
