Liverpool fc Vs Leicester City fc English Premier League preview - Lets

Liverpool FC are sitting top of the English Premier League (EPL) table with five matches won out of five played with 15 points. As of going live Liverpool are two points clear of Man City.  Leicester City FC could become challengers with 11 points currently sitting in thrid position.

Coming out of recent good form in the Premier League Brendon Roger’s team have faced three of the traditional top six teams including Chelsea, Man United and Spurs. Having just beaten Spurs with goals from Ricardo Domingos Barbose Pereira and James Maddison.  Six games in Brendon Rogers is reported as saying in the Leicester Mercury that “they are not getting carried away” and that the table doesn’t really become relevant until later in the season.  Nevertheless after a tough six games Leicester City are looking to be solid competition for Livepool at home Saturday 5th October.

Away games to Luton Town Tuesday 24th of September in the Football League Cup, third round.

At home against Newcastle Sunday 29th September.

Just two games in the run-up for Leicester City and 4 games for Liverpool.

Having lost no games since the start of the EPL season perhaps Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are set for un upset. Group stages of the Champions League has proved a harder nut to crack after suffering a 2 – 0 defeat at the hands of Napoli in the opening game of the Champions League Group stages.

Underdogs Leicester may be a rising star in the league and be underated.  Brendon Rogers having left Celtic to manage Leicester has had money to spend after the sale of Harry Maguire to Manchester United for £80 million.  No body expects Leicester to pull off a Premier League victory like 2016 under Claudio Ranieri at odds of 5000 – 1, but under Roger’s Leicester City may be set to ruffle the feathers of the top teams in the EPL.
