Victory at Stamford Bridge tonight at 8pm is the only way another Barclays Premier League team can deny Leicester City the premiership title.

Just as Jamie Vardy has been named Football Writers’ Association of the Year footballer of the year. The French Albanian Riyad Mahrez who grew up playing football on the streets of Paris got second place. Mahrez also plays for Leicester.

Accolades are been poured onto Leicester even before their victory is a done deal. Could this all be tool much for Tottenham giving Chelsea the opportunity they need to impressive the incoming Antonio Conte: Gus Hiddinck’s replacement as first team head coach.

What do Tottenham need to secure their first title since 1961? Win the final three games and have Leicester pick up less than two points from their last too matches. Other than Chelsea, Tottenham play Southampton at home 8th May, and, Newcastle away 15th May. With Vardy and Mahrez winding down, who knows this could still go either way. All hinging on today’s match.

John Terry should be back from injury for the match joined by Gary Cahill. Spurs are missing Eric Dier and Dele Alli. Alli is beginning a three match ban for violent conduct. Nabil Bentaleb is also out with a knee injury.
