Two of the Premier League’s title contenders will go head-to-head on Saturday evening as reigning champions Chelsea take on favourites Manchester City at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea will start this game full of confidence after securing a crucial 2-1 win away to Atletico Madrid in their midweek Champions League clash. Michy Batshuayi grabbed the winner deep into injury time to give the Blues a huge boost in their quest to make it to the knockout stages. With that win they became the only English club to have beaten Atletico Madrid away from home in the history of European football.

Prior to that historic win, they cruised to a 4-0 win at Stoke City in which Alvaro Morata bagging a hat-trick to take his overall tally to seven goals from seven games in a Chelsea shirt.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will have to make do without forward Sergio Aguero who was involved in a car accident on Thursday night and is could be out for up to 10 weeks. Fortunately, the Sky Blues have plenty of quality to call upon with Gabriel Jesus likely to lead the line in the Argentine’s absence.

City made it seven competitive wins a row on Wednesday night by beating Shakhtar Donetsk in their Champions League clash and they are currently sat at the top of the Premier League having amassed 16 points from six games, scoring 21 goals and conceding just two in the process.

Prediction

City have score in every game they have played this term and Chelsea have netted in all but one so the Both Teams to Score bet looks the best option here. As for the outcome, with both sides so evenly matched the draw looks the most likely result here. This can be combined with the BTTS bet at a price of 10/3.

You can back Draw/Both Teams to Score at 10/3 with Betfair.
