Tottenham Hotspur: DLWLW

With just one defeat in their last seven matches, Leicester City look to have steadied the ship somewhat in recent weeks. However, they remain in 11th place in the Premier League just four points above the relegation zone. Next up for the Foxes is a clash against one of the pre-season title favourites Tottenham Hotspur.

After a dismal start to the campaign, Leicester City dispensed with the services of Craig Shakespeare and called upon the experience of Frenchman Claude Puel. Since then, there have been steady signs of improvement but the East Midlands’ side are still languishing in a perilous position.

They were less than convincing last time out but still came away with a point following a 1-1 draw at West Ham United. While their only defeat in their last seven league matches came at home to runaway leaders Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Tottenham come into this game on the back of disappointing 1-1 draw at home the West Bromwich Albion. Prior to that, they were beaten 2-0 away from home in the North London derby. While their league form has been less than impressive, they have excelled in the Champions League and currently sit top of their group with four wins and a draw from their five matches. During that campaign, they have taken four points from two games against Real Madrid and have defeated Borussia Dortmund twice.

Prediction

All of Leicester City’s defeats this term have come against teams in the top six and they conceded twice or more in each of those five defeats. However, they have found the net in 12 of their last 13 on home soil.

With that in mind, the away win still looks the best bet, despite Spurs’ minor blip in recent weeks.
