Manchester united's Christmas fixtures - Lets

Qualifying for the Champions League has bumped up Manchester United’s prospects of a successful Christmas 2012 Campaign. Alex Furgesson’s job has been made that little bit more easy as he has been able to rotate the players before the busy Christmas period.

With success in the Champions League and Chris Smalling coming back from injury, playing a whole 90 minutes against Braga, the Christmas period looks set to be crucial for Man United’s Premier League title hopes going into 2013. It remains to be seen if the Serbian defender Nemanja Vidic will be back after Knee Surgery. Ferguson has mentioned that he thinks Vidic could be back around Christmas, later than first thought.  Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans have formed a good partnership so far in Vidic’s absence, which looks set to get Man United through December with plenty of wins.
