Recent Form

AFC Bournemouth: DLLLL

Everton: WDWLL

AFC Bournemouth are winless in seven and must now face an Everton side that are enjoying a three-game unbeaten run at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Eddie Howe facing harsh reality

Bournemouth’s September win against Sunderland now seems like a distant memory for manager Eddie Howe. At the time, the club had picked up seven points from their first four games in the Barclays Premier League – in the nine games since, they have added just two points. Despite their poor form, the Cherries remain just a point away from safety. They come into this game on a positive note having earned a 2-2 draw away to Swansea last weekend.

Bournemouth will be without Christian Atsu, Callum Wilson, Tommy Elphick and Tyrone Mings for this game; however, Lee Tomlin, Artur Boruc and Marc Pugh could all return from injury.

Everton up to seventh

Everton will face a side in the bottom three for the third time in four games when they make the long trip to the South Coast on Saturday. Having put a combined total of 10 goals past Sunderland and Aston Villa, Roberto Martinez’s men will be confident going into this game.

Tony Hibbert and Bryan Oviedo could return for the Toffees, while Leighton Baines and Tyias Browning are both on the doubtful list.

Prediction

Bournemouth have developed a habit of playing well without getting results. Everton are in good form and will present another tough challenge for the relegation candidates. The Merseyside team can be expected to bag their third away win of the season and can be backed at 6/4 with Bet365.

Romelu Lukaku loves an away goal and has netted five already this term from his overall total of nine. The Belgian can be backed at 9/2 with Betfair to score first in this game or at 7/5 to score anytime.
