Chelsea: DWLLL
Bournemouth: DDLLL
Chelsea will be looking to pull further away from the relegation zone on Saturday evening when they host struggling Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in the Barclays Premier League.
Blues still searching for answers
If Chelsea can avoid defeat this weekend, they will go unbeaten in three games for the first time this season. After a narrow win against Norwich and a goalless draw against Tottenham, it is too early suggest that the Blues have turned a corner. However, they did record successive clean sheets for the first time this season, a fact that would have pleased Coach Jose Mourinho.
The London club can only move up one place in the table with a win this weekend, but they will be keen to build on the five point cushion that the currently have over the first relegation place.
John Terry and Ramires are both doubtful for this game, while Radamel Falcao and Thibaut Courtois could both be involved.
Back-to-back draws for Bournemouth
Bournemouth are winless in eight games and have the second worst form in the league over the last 10 games. However, they recently halted a four-game losing streak with back-to-back draws against Swansea and Everton.
The Cherries have a scored a respectable total of 17 goals this season but have conceded more than any other team (30). They have failed to keep a clean sheet ina any of their away games this season.
Eddie Howe’s team have been regulars at the top of the injury table and still have 11 players either in the treatment room or in recovery.
