After beating old rivals Austria and holding Portugal and Iceland to draws, Group F table-toppers Hungary have been rewarded with a last 16 clash against one of the pre-tournament favourites.
Hungary have been one of the tournaments surprise teams and have impressed many with positive style of play. Having already upset the odds by topping Group F, they will now be looking to cause another upset by disposing of a Belgium team who were tipped by many to go all the way.
In 12 previous meetings between the two sides, Belgium have eight wins, Hungary have two and two were drawn. However, their last competitive meeting came at the 1982 World Cup in Spain when the teams drew 1-1 – a result that eliminated Hungary.
